En route to the Warehouse on December 19th, Mathias Kaden has been producing music for many years on some of Europe's finest labels such as Vakant and Freude Am Tanzen. Here he opens his human heart to the cold steel of the ATL autobotnik.

ATL: Hi, and how the hell are you today?
MK: Today I'm at my home... I'm washing my clothes.

ATL: Let's get started then. First musical memory?
MK: My first vinyl I was listening to was a typical fairy tale history for children.

ATL: Ever played Ireland and if so where, when and how was it for you?
MK: I never played in ireland before! But I'm really excited to play in Belfast at the U-Bahng on 19th of December!!  ;-)

ATL:What prompted you to get fully involved in dance music?
MK: There are a lot of reasons... I'm into this dance music since a long time ago... and it's my life!

ATL: Last piece vinyl you bought and is it going to finally pop it's wee plastic clogs soon?
MK: I bought my last record 2 weeks ago, I'm still into the vinyl DJing... I don't want to play a DJ set with my laptop;-) But I don't know in the future... the mp3 market is going to be really huge... I hope we can keep the vinyl alive!

ATL: Best clubbing experience?
MK: there too many to write them all down ;-)

ATL: Your house is on fire, you can only carry one piece of vinyl or CD out, what will it be?
MK: Then i would burn too... :-(

ATL: Non dance music, what are you listening to at the mo?
MK: I really like old funk music or traditional music from other countries.

ATL: Do you have any famous DJ mates and if so who, and what are they really like? Go on you can tell us...
MK: No I don't have... but I really like Kid Koala.

ATL: Stuff Ministry and all that crap, what is really the best club in the world?
MK: There are a lot of good clubs in the world... including Muna. hehe ;-)

ATL: Your  criminal record - what's the worst piece of music ever played out?
MK: U96 - Das Boot.

ATL: Who is the best DJ in the world and why?
MK: I don't know...

ATL: And when will we see you again then?
MK: We will see me on the 19th of december at the u-bahng at the warehouse.
