Interviews
Japanese Popstars
Get this, they are neither popstars, nor Japanese! They have managed to continue masquerading under this clearly fictional moniker for too long. ATL's ravebot plans to expose them, using ace journalistic techniques learned from the 3am girls.

ATL: Hi, and how the hell are you today?
DECKY: Swanky

ATL: Let's get started then. First musical memory?
DECKY: Playing with my Lego in my bedroom and listening to Pink Floyd on my dad's portable cassette player when I was about 6 years old.
GALO: Stevie Wonder - 'I Just Called To Say I Love You'

ATL: Have you ever played Ireland and if so where, when and how was it for you?
GALO: No, I decided early on that the Ireland scene isn't for me.

ATL: Now, what prompted you to get fully involved in dance music?
DECKY: Having to listen to my mates who told me going to the Point Inn was amazing (this was back in the day) and I was dead set against it, as I liked hiphop and rock. So, I decided that dance music (*spit*) was extremely simple to make, so I sat in front of my Commodore Amiga and decided to make it. It wasn't as easy as I thought. I got hooked from there!
GALO: I stole a set of 1210's and a load of vinyl out of a student house in the Holylands, it just kind of went from there.

ATL: What's been your best clubbing experience?
GALO: There have been too many, hearing The Presets doing Steamworks live in the Mandela a couple of Easters ago was pretty awesome.
DECKY: Pulling 3 birds in the one night at Squires in Derry.

ATL: We regret to inform you that your house is on fire, you can only carry one piece of vinyl or CD out, what will it be?
DECKY: 'ZIP ZAP RAP' by Devastatin' Dave.
GALO: 'The Best of Lionel Ritchie', i'ts brought my through the tough times, and the good.

ATL: For non dance music, what are you listening to at the mo?
DECKY: Foo Fighters, Kasabian, The Presets and Louge and McCool to name a few...

ATL: So, do you have any famous DJ mates and if so, who, and what are they really like? Go on you can tell us...
DECKY: We've become pretty friendly with a few DJs and we've met loads. Fergie sorted a few things out for us, Kate Lawler seems to bump into us a lot, and Paul Jackson is a gentleman.

ATL: What is really the best club in the world?
GALO: Space in Ibiza probably.

ATL: Your criminal record - whats the worst piece of music ever played out?
GALO: No real howlers for me, Gary once played Bros.

ATL: Who is the best DJ in the world and why?
DECKY: In my opinion Boys Noize - he absolutely blew me away when I seen him. Quite a showman too!
GALO: It depends on what mode I am in, all the big guns are in there though.

ATL: And when will we see you again then?
