He's just about to release a brand new compilation - Therapy Sessions Volume 4 - on his own Audio Therapy label featuring tracks and remixes by the likes of Pryda, Trentmoller, UNKLE, King Unique, Martin Solveig, 16 Bit Lolitas, Gui Boratto, Luke Dzierzek, Martin Buttrich and many more. You can catch him next Saturday October 27th at Lush! for an exclusive 'Classics' set. Dave Seaman meets the ATL autobot...

ATL: Hi, and how the hell are you today?
DS: I'm fair to middling. Thank you.

Let's get started then. First musical memory?
Dancing to 'Billy, Don't Be A Hero' by Paper Lace in my Grandma's frontroom.

Have you ever played Ireland and if so where, when and how was it for you?
Ahem, this will be about my 40th time over the last 15 years or so. Mainly at Lush but played lots of other places too. Too many to mention.

Now, what prompted you to get fully involved in dance music?
I wasn't very good at anything else. Hahaha... And somebody was stupid enough to give me a job at Mixmag. That was 20 years ago now!

We regret to inform you that your house is on fire, you can only carry one piece of vinyl or CD out, what will it be?
'Gorecki' by Lamb.

For non dance music, what are you listening to at the mo?
This week I've been listening to the new albums by Radiohead, Feist, Plain White Tees, KT Tunstall, Athlete, Hard Fi, Kanye West, Robyn and MIA. But it changes every week.

So, do you have any famous DJ mates and if so, who, and what are they really like? Go on you can tell us...
Sorry if I was going to sell my story it would go to the highest bidder. What you offering?

What is really the best club in the world?
It's tough to pick just one. So I'll give you a few. Cavo Paradiso in Mykonos. Zouk in Singapore. Warung Beach Club in Brazil. Pacha in Buenos Aires.  Space in Ibiza. Womb in Tokyo. That enough?

Your criminal record - whats the worst piece of music ever played out?
Oh God. Take your pick. I used to do weddings when I was 13 years old so Black Lace - Agadoo, The Tweets - The Birdie Song, The Firm - Star Trekkin... the list is endless!

Who is the best DJ in the world and why?
Chris Moyles or Terry Wogan. Take yer pick.

And when will we see you again then?
You won't if I see you first. x

Now before you go, give us your top five tunes of the moment...
1. Angelique - 'Nothing At All (Jamie Stevens mix)'
2. Nick Muir - 'G Platz'
3. Satoshi Tomiie - 'Solar Wind'
4. Oliver Moldan - 'Club 69 (Jim Rivers Dub)'
5.Guy J - 'Night Loss'
