From the uber-cool Mobilee stable, the kings of the Berlin underground  - Pan Pot, take time out from preparing for the release of their debut album Pan-O-Rama, coming your way next month, to talk exclusively to ATL Dance.

ATL: Hi, and how the hell are you today?
We're fine, sitting in the studio sauna and making music. It's hot outside, but it's even more hot in here...  And you, how are you?

ATL: Let's get started then. First musical memory?
Church Choir, Michael Jackson, Metallica.

ATL: Have you ever played Ireland and if so where, when and how was it for you?
We never played there, but we would love to.

ATL: Now, what prompted you to get fully involved in dance music?
You know these boring stories from people who made their hobby to their profession. We are two of them... It's the best and most interesting thing we can imagine at the moment, travelling, making music in the studio, parties and meeting interesting people.

ATL: What's been your best clubbing experience?
Sonar Festival 2006/2007. Last year on the Mobilee Beach Showcase and in 2007 the Mobilee party at the roof top of Hotel Diagonal in Barcelona. That was amazing!!!

ATL: We regret to inform you that your house is on fire, you can only carry one piece of vinyl or CD out, what will it be?
The Traktor Scratch Timecode Vinyl of course ;)

ATL: For non dance music, what are you listening to at the mo?
So many kind of stuff, from hiphop to metal, to punk, to electronica, such a big range of music. We're not fixed on one direction... from Air to Metallica to Mob Deep.

ATL: So, do you have any famous DJ mates and if so, who, and what are they really like? Go on you can tell us..
We have a lot of DJ mates, famous and not so famous. The are very nice guys and girls of course otherwise they wouldn't be mates of us.

ATL What is really the best club in the world?
We love beach parties, these are usually the best ones for us... But there are some clubs with huge soundsystems we also really like. You know the few in the world we are talking about.

ATL: Your criminal record - whats the worst piece of music ever played out?
Can't remember, really...

ATL: Who is the best DJ in the world and why?
We think it's Tiesto or who won the award for the best international DJ this year??? Probably the best DJ concerning the technics is a guy or a girl we all don't know, because he or she is just playing at home and improving the already perfect mixing method. But if u mean the best entertaining and already famous DJ, sorry we don't have a favourite beside our Mobilee dj-friends.

ATL: And when will we see you again then?
We are releasing an album on Mobilee in October and will be on tour from October on. Hopefully we have the chance to make a tourstop in Ireland later this year.
