Ryan McCann from Lagmore, the 15 year old promoter of the Volume Control events, is back to the Oh Yeah Centre on Friday 13th November.

Volume Control is a monthly music event, organised and driven by young people. The aim is to provide an alternative to the many gigs around town that take place in licensed premises, which do not admit the under-18 age slot. Volume Control is aimed at the 13-18 group and allows young performers and audience members to enjoy live, original music. Along the way, the Volume Control team learn about promotions, marketing, media relations, poster design, stage production, event management and project financing. Based in the Oh Yeah music centre, this project equips a new generation with the skill sets to make their own mark on arts, business and music culture.
