UK singer songwriter Kate Walsh returns with her third album 'Light & Dark' on August 28th 2009, preceded by lead single 'June Last Year'. Kate brings her live show to Auntie Annie's in Belfast on Tuesday October 27th and The Sugar Club in Dublin on Wednesday October 28th.

Walsh releases the album on her own label Blueberry Pie, which she set up in 2007 to release her UK iTunes No. 1 album 'Tim's House'. Recorded in her bedroom, 'Tim's House' was a blueprint for independent releases, worked by Walsh on-line through MySpace with no label funding or investment whatsoever. The album was finally added to iTunes, who made one of the tracks, Talk of the Town, single of the week across the music store. As a result, the album took a massive leap in popularity, quickly overtaking Take That and The Kaiser Chiefs to take the No. 1 position on the album download charts.
