Remember square roots, synonyms and the ability to correctly connect a circuit board?

In January 2004, Eamonn Holmes and Christine Bleakley took us back in time to find out if we would pass today’s transfer test – the infamous 11+.

In the studio were 20 celebrity contestants and a studio audience each competing for the top grades, while the rest of Northern Ireland played along from the safety of their armchairs.

The programme was the brainchild of Wild Rover Productions, a local independant production company and was BBC NOrthern Ireland's first foray into interactive television.

Don't worry if you missed the television programme though, as you can take the test here online. You can also calculate your grade and even print off a certificate of completion.

Text Only
You may prefer to take the non-timed, text only version of the test by clicking here. The questions involving diagrams have been replaced by non-diagramatic questions of a similar standard. Please be aware that this test will not give as accurate a result as the timed test, and will give a raw score only - you will need to convert this to an age-weighted score by entering your details here.
