Well it's been
a hell of a first year for Jon & Griff and The Weekender.
More brilliant guests than you can shake a stick at plus the best
new and classic tunes alongside the county's musicians and djs.
But we ain't done yet!!!
To
finish of 2004 in style, we've concocted The Weekender Awards. Six
categories to celebrate this year's talent in the best way we know
how.
The
Weekender Award show will allow you and us to award those who have
achieved greatness this year with words of praise and encouragement.
And get their song on the air again!
The
show will be broadcast on Friday, 17th December when we have a two-hour
special. It's the last show of the year so we aim to make it a good
'un.
You
can tune in to Radio Northampton (104.2 & 103.6 FM) or listen
online when the winners will be announced during the show.

There
are six categories for the Weekender Award and each category has
two winners: The Weekender Choice & The People's Choice.
Jon,
Griff and the rest of the Weekender team will decide their choice
for one set of awards for 2004 and you, the listeners get to pick
the other.
We've
shortlisted the artists we want you to choose from (so there's not
too much arguing) and all you have to do is fill out the form to
nominate.
And
the categories are...
