Ambition,
corruption and mad scary women - not life in the Big Brother house
but Shakespeare's tragedy of bloody power-lust, Macbeth.

Macbeth |
Open-air
plays in the middle of summer tend to be light comedies, so it'll
be a bit different to sit amidst the majestic Northamptonshire countryside
watching murder and mayhem unfold in the Scottish dark ages.
But then again, maybe the historical settings at Rockingham and
Alderton will bring to life this dark, brooding and complex play.
Macbeth
is a Scottish soldier who becomes a tormented, guilt-ridden killer
pushed on by his forceful wife.
This show by Heartbreak Productions delves into the mind of Macbeth
as he struggles and fights with his conscience and uses 'psychological
imagery' to create the worlds of Heaven and Hell.
It's directed by Peter Mimmack with music by Darren Scott.
