Paper Chains

You will need:

Crepe or glossy paper (2 different colours)
Scissors
Adhesive or double-sided tape

Method:
it might be worth using scrap paper to practice

1. Cut a sheet of paper, 24 cms square.

2. Fold it diagonally to create a triangle and fold again to create a smaller triangle.

3. Make cuts in alternate directions, either side of the triangle, making sure the cuts do not span from one side to the other.

4. Open the sheet flat.

5. Repeat steps 1-4 using a different coloured sheet of paper.

6. Stick the two sheets together (round the outside edge only) using adhesive/ double sided tape.

7. Allowing the adhesive to set, gently pull the two sides apart from the centre, creating your decoration.

Multiple chains may be connected to each other to make larger decorations.
