New Academy marks first year

The principal of Corby Business Academy is questioned by his students.

Corby Business Academy is nearing the end of its first academic year.

Dr Andrew Cambell with some of the students

The £30m school opened in September 2008, replacing Corby Community College.

The new Academy has five faculties, a theatre and sports-pitches. It can cater for 1,200 children.

We invited some of the students to question the principal, Dr Andrew Campbell, about the Academy's first year.

The students, aged 12 to 17, are all reporters for the Academy magazine, Impress.

Subjects put to Dr Campbell ranged from how businesses are getting involved with the Academy to students input into the running of the Academy.
