Now, if you're feeling guilty about not getting your daily dose of exercise, then best get yourself down the pub.

Sports development officers from Northampton Borough Council took Wii machines to the Spinney Hill boozer on the 20th of January, to get the locals active. And the Bard offered his thoughts.

I woke up today with a problem
I just couldn't get out of bed
I had to shout out to the Missus
It's these words to me that she said...

"you spend too much time down the local
drinking real ale and eating cheap crisps
and you don't move a muscle all evening
so it's all going straight to your hips...

Well my head was more fuzzy than usual

So I went to the pub just to try it
And found quite a very long queue
So I had a few pints while I waited
