Children In NeedYou are in: Northamptonshire > Children In Need > Yellow for Pudsey! ![]() In a bath of custard! Yellow for Pudsey!Schools, businesses and people of all ages in the county, joined forces to help raise money for Pudsey. They were determined to do their bit to help beat last year's Children In Need total. Events were held across Northamptonshire on the big day itself and the fundraising continued into the weekend. Students at Rockingham Primary school in Corby did a sponsored cycle ride around the playground. Denise from Pete's Pirates Indoor Play centre in Wellingborough, sat in a bath of custard for 5 hours! Northampton General hospital organised an on-line auction, which featured shirts and memorabilia donated by Northampton Saints Rugby club. 90's singer, Chesney Hawkes also did his bit for Pudsey by announcing the raffle at the hospital and stopped to pose for photos with staff and patients. People across the county pulled out all the stops to help raise money for Children In Need and contribute to the total amount raised in the East, which was the highest outside of London.
