Dancers in Need: TICKETS SOLD OUT!!

It was more chafing than Cha Cha Cha when 8 of our Dancers in Need contestants took part in their first rehearsal. Our dancing dynamos were put through their paces by their expert partners.

Instructor Andrzej started with a vigorous warm up which, for some, was the most exercise they'd done for quite a while.

'I think I was at least two steps behind everyone. I feel completely out of breath and I think…I might be an early favourite!' panted breakfast's Joe Pignatiello (33-1).

TICKETS ARE NOW SOLD OUT!!!!

But you can be put on reserve, just in case someone drops out. Doors open 6.30pm, event starts at 7pm.

Box office number: 08700 621 193

One bus available from Northampton to Kettering and back on the night - book via reception on 01604 239100, tickets are limited.

Challenge

The first dance they tackled was the Cha Cha Cha, a latin dance that demands energy and passion. Some found it easy but others found it a bit more of a challenge.

'So far I'm trying to work out which is my left leg and which is my right leg in this cha cha to be quite honest. My partner's very patient with me and I wish her luck with me.' sympathised Inspirations and Green Welly presenter Mark Dean (8-1)

While for Bernie Keith (6-1) there were different challenges to overcome. 'Andrea (Bern's partner) has told me I've got to think straight, everything's got to be straight….you can see the problem I'm having.' He admitted.

So following the first rehearsal the odds look like this….

Julia - 3
Anna Bartlett - 5
Bernie - 6
Annabel - 7
Mark - 8
Bob - 8
James B - 10
Jon R - 10
Ally - 10
Johnie Amos 14
John G - 14
Geoff - 16
Joe - 33
Gadders - 50

NB: These odds are just for fun. No betting will actually be taking place either before or during Dancers in Need….but if you are a far Eastern betting syndicate, Bob Walmsley's a dark horse!
