Introducing...

Weekender Introducing plays emerging music from Northamptonshire. Get your tracks featured on the show by checking the criteria below and submitting your songs to us.

You must be from Northamptonshire to be considered OR be playing within the county at a local venue. Your songs MUST NOT contain swearing or foul and abusive language, or be too long in length.

You may submit music to us, but please note and include:

  Short biog
  Contact name
  Contact phone
  Contact email

Sending songs

We will accept music sent to us in one of two ways – on CD or MP3.
CDs can be posted to Weekender HQ, marking them clearly to:

BBC Radio Northampton
Abington Street
Northampton
NN1 2BH

Or, delivering a copy in person to our reception, Monday to Friday, 9am until 5pm.
Again, please clearly mark FTAO Weekender Introducing…

You can email us MP3s direct to our email address, but please note:

• Title the file “Band Name – Track Name.mp3”
  Encoded to at least 192K – It MUST be MP3
  (We DO NOT except all file types, including .wav, mp4, AAC, WMA)

Attach your MP3 along with the additional information in an email and send it to us direct.

OR you can use a file sending website such as www.yousendit.com if the file is too large to be handled by your email program.

Please bear in mind we cannot play everything we receive. And while we try to respond with comments when requested, again this cannot be guaranteed due to the volume of material we receive.
