Already a feature on some PCs in Brackley and Corby, the video cameras fit neatly onto the helmets of officers who use off-road motorbikes and bicycles in the Delapre and Briar Hill areas of the town.

They have been designed to record any anti-social behaviour, particularly the use of mini mopeds in public places that pose a risk to members of the local community.

The cameras will allow the police to build up a library of pictures, which can then be used to prosecute offenders.
