About the projectYoung people from Northampton, UK and Iringa, Tanzania are making movies about their lives. The Usikike: Be Heard project is exploring the similarities and differences of the lives of the young people, their experiences and cultures. Throughout the project, both sets of young people - in Northampton and Iringa - are keeping blogs and audio/video diaries for this website. Truth or Dare is the film being made by members of the Royal & Derngate's youth theatre group. In May, they shot one of the scenes in a Northampton Park. This particular scene is about sexuality and how some people in their teens start to question whether they like men, women or both. See our behind-the-scenes report by clicking on the link below.
