County wins in EM awards

It proved a successful night for some of Northamptonshire sports stars at the East Midlands Sports Awards.

The county's sports stars scooped four awards.

The former Cobblers boss Colin Calderwood won the Football Achievement Award:

Mandy Young from the Adrenalin Alley centre in Corby won the EMDA Enterprise in Sport Award. The Bmx and biking centre got the funding from a number of local bodies. She took the lead after her son was attacked:

Trampolining coach Tracy Whittaker Smith was the winner of Sport England East Midlands Community Coach award:

And Caitlin McClatchey was the Sportswoman of the Year after winning double gold in swimming at the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne earlier this year:
