Defender Andy Holt

Counting down to kick-off

The countdown continues to the new domestic football season - with Cobblers manager John Gorman, busy putting his squad together.

Andy Holt is one of Northampton Town FC's new signings.

The 6 ft 1 Manchester born defender has joined the Cobblers from Wrexham, and has been training with his new teammates this week.

The defender has been explaining to our Sports Editor Geoff Doyle why he joined the Cobblers.

But first off, they couldn't resist a chat about the weather!
