Alpine Serenity by Rosie Beamish

Rosie Beamish

Born and resident in Northamptonshire, Rosie channels a lifelong creative ability into painting in various mediums and also making gemstone jewellery.

She states "I really enjoy painting - it is a wonderful relaxing therapy and I would recommend it to anyone. I just love trying different mediums and experimenting with new ideas."

She has exhibited and sold work through the annual Northamptonshire 'Open Studios' event for five consecutive years and also the Northampton 'Art In The Park' in the grounds of the Abington Park museum and other local exhibitions. Frequently drawing her inspiration from the natural world she uses vibrant colours to create impact.

She currently works in Oils, Gouache, Watercolours and Encaustic Wax.

Her handmade Gemstone Jewellery designs employ semi-precious stones to create attractive and unusual Necklaces, Pendants, Bracelets and Earrings.

"The gems that I use include many outside of the range that are commonly seen and recognised and provide an infinite choice of colour, design and combination. This ensures that most items are one-offs and will be unique to the purchaser," she concludes.
