James Fletcher
Well done bro. I am so glad that God is reaching out to those who need help. I have been a Christian since the end of last year. I can say it has changed me a lot both in my faith and health. I would like to see more younger people get involved in the church, because everybody loves eachother and accepted. I do have battles with bad things and I try hard to avoid sin. Sin is bad and I'm happy that you have come this far in your faith. God has a perpose for you and its your mission to find what that is. God bless you.
Clair
Good on you! Glad you're out their proving them all wrong, I hate that we're all stereotyped too!

1st john has something to say about a sin that leads to death. it's an interesting study! what is that sin that can not be pardoned?
it comes when a christians conscience is no longer pricked by what is evil and sinful. just because our conscience is not being pricked does mean to say that it is right!
lessons from kind David in Samuel teach us that lesson.
Jesus may have turned water to wine, but is not wine a term for grape juice? greek seems to think so.
Paul warns us that we as christians shoud stay clear of things with even the appearance of evil!! good advice from an inspired man.
a true repentant heart will bring forgivesness. salvation is a gift that we must unwrap. something we must discover even as christians.
stay strong find other good, fun and wholesome past times.
there are plenty
praise the lord you have committed your life to him.

You used to go to my school, I didn't know you were a Christian/have become one! That's great news. Welcome to the family brother! :o)

All the christians i knew before becoming one myself were always so happy, and lifeful. i liked the way they were set apart, not getting plastered every other night and taking drugs like all my other friends, i realised that the only reason me and my other friends did drugs and had loads of one night stands and stuff was to feel better about themselves, being christians, people i met from church youth felt assured of themselves, they knew who they were, and didnt need to get short term highs from stuff like that. it was so awesome when i became a christian, i stopped feeling the need for sex, drugs and getting hammered. cause it was like god was my high. it sounds really trippy, but he's my best frined, and always helps me out and builds me up. he's perfect! <3

i have recently become a christian and felt gods presence on me..i knew i was home. That was the strangest feeling i never expected to feel. I come from a non christian family yet my christian friend told me about god and jesus and i knew i wanted and needed this.
She had this self assurement from god.
And i have found a deep spiritual peace and meaning to my life.
Jesus has come into my life and now i must share my wonderful faith with you. Its all true..u may not expect it but when u read about these faith stories and miracles and personal experiences it all becomes real.
I know i can take any worry to god and prayer.
I no longer worry about things that dont matter.that dont get me anywhere. I feel really happy, fullfilled..God speaks to me and i am now willing to hear.
Trust me god wants you..jesus loves you he will rejoice in heaven when you come to him. Jesus died for us..and what have you done for him. What have you done for our god to be sent to heaven..i am not condeming you but guiding you..u can still do it. Go to heaven!

Being a Christian means letting Jesus in as Lord of your life which is an awesome thing to do & it's great that you have Ben. Being a Christian does mean that some things in your life will be different. Don't get me wrong - I don't think rock music is of the devil or anything! But having Jesus in charge of your life means that as a response to the amazing thing that he has done, rescuing us from the punishment we deserve for our sins, we should try to live more as he wants us to. The Bible is still relevant today - I wouldn't have thought God's word would ever go out of date - and it should be where we look to for guidance on how God wants us to live. Eli says that times have changed and so has religion, but our God is never changing. Becoming a Christian is admitting that we sin and saying that we're sorry for that - so why would we run right out and do it again because we've been forgiven? We can still go out, have fun, have a drink, listen to rock music or whatever but… If you wrecked your parent's car but they forgave you - would you just go straight out and drive it into a ditch at 80mph again on purpose? Of course not - you'd go and try to drive better, even though the odd accident or crash will inevitably happen sometimes.

ok, i just reread my previous comment and I just want to say that it sounds like I agree with one night stands and completely disresepcting people.
I don't mean that, I just mean that things average teenagers do (not that you do or anything) that people think are bad seem worse if you do them and are a christian. Anything that's acceptable for non-christians should be acceptable for christians.
I don't care if the bible says shouldn't do somethings, that was 2000 years ago, people didn't do those things even if you weren't christian. Times have changed, so has religion.
Be whatever type of Christian you want, as long as you're happy and not hurting anybody else. I always thought that Jesus accepted evrybody so how can his so called "descendants" try to tell potential follwers that they don't follow the bible word for word and therefore can not be a "true" christian?
eli
that song is great! is it for sale on a cd or something? (or maybe you could send me a complimentary copy). Do you have anything else? You are really good.
God, religion, Jesus, Christianity - it should all change with the times and somebody like you proves that it can. You don't have to sit at home wearing slippers to be a christian, you can drink, have one night stands, listen to rock music. Whatever, you don't have to grow up overnight just because you've become a Christian.
(by the way you look really cute in that pic!)
Abby
Well done for being so strong! I just wanted to know how you overcame the issue of being a homosexual and a christian when the bible says you will go to hell? Its an issue I am struggling with myself!
Telle
I'm a buddhist, but I think that it is great that you feel secure enough to tell the world about your faith and how it helps you. Stay strong!
D
U MOVE ME MAN!
i believe so strong that the world today should put their own intelligence aside and just fall back and trust. Give it a chance but you will definately be turned because GOD IS REAL.
I know its hard to keep up and my relationship with God is like a rollercoaster, always being influenced by the world. But I'm gonna be strong and march on. Laters bro
Pippa
Thank you for your article, i was almost giving up hope of finding someone my own age who feels the same about God as me! You have it spot on! be strong. and keep being yourself, God likes that! Pips x
Karen
speechless...Christians are facing a problem today...we want to be accepted by the world - we want to fit in - we want to be "cool" - but the reality is that the world hated my Jesus...and if He is in me...the world should hate me too...COME OUT FROM AMONG THEM and BE YE SEPARATE
Ben Johnson
Hey Guys, Thanks for all your posts, it's really good to recieve all kinds of opinions, good and bad! Just to let you know that one of my own songs has been put up on this page now, top corner! it's called Malicious Smile.

Ben i think its fantastic that you were able to let christianity into your life. there are many youngsters out there like you who just aren't able to do what you did. god made you who you are so he accepts you and loves you for who you are. i cant see why other youngsters dont see that. he made you to like rock music and be yourself so that what he wants you to be he doesn't want any of us to change who we are. i think that you would really enjoy an event coming up in may. its at alton towers and you spend the day in the park but in the evening its a christian rock concert. aswell as it being good music it is very spiritual and well worth going to. well good luck with everything and i really admire you for telling the world your story...Sarah xxx

i think that it is really good for young guys as that of ben to come to know that there is so much joy in knowing God i believe that if ben is to grow spiritually he needs guidance from only one source his bibile that is the that armour that may help him.
Micah
Rob you are right but i feel the comments on terrorism were unwarented, terrorism is political not religious, religion is just a way of controling and justifying the deeds.
Trisha i do not see how drink, late nights and music are of the devil, they do have to be as long as you do not take things to the extreme, afterall was it not Jesus who turned water in to wine? the fact is anything in excess is wrong, and yes that includes alcohol and music but also; food (gluttony), beauty (vanity), pride, laziness (sloth) etc etc. christians put people off christianity with your hard line approach, the truth is God forgives, and man learns from his mistakes. if you are doing wrong in Gods eyes and you are open to him, God will tell you through your conscience. nice one ben, its good to hear other teenagers are still opening their minds to the truth
Rob
Just reading the comments below just goes to show the problems with faiths. Ben - if your faith makes you happy and makes you feel secure, that's great. Trisha - don't you dare impose your will on others. Comments like yours are the foundation of terrorism.
Trisha
Ben you have a long way to go yet! Start reading the Word of God you will see that you cannot be part of the world and its ways!! You must seperate from it. Jesus said that to be a friend of the world (booze, rock and roll, fornication drugs, etc etc) is to be an enemy of God. He has not changed, He is still Holy and is coming for a Holy spotless bride, get out of that church if they see no wrong in what you are doing!! You need to find somebody to lead you. Jesus also talked about the blind leading the blind! Be very careful, read His Words for yourself, study them and stay in prayer, take time to find out what He wants of you, you cannot walk with one foot in the world and one in the church, with God it is all or nothing, take up your cross and walk with Him, it is not easy, He suffered and so will we, the reward is worth it all. You should look at working in the mission field, you need to see the power of God at work, start to do something now with your life and serve Him, there are many churches that are looking for people to work in the missions, it is a huge blessing believe me!!
Ben, please leave the drinking, the late nights and rock and roll. Seek the face of God that is all you need in your life. Remember the devil roams around like a roaring lion to see whom he may devour! Get into the Word of God and study so that you are not confused little brother.
He loves you very much and so do we, from Mexico City, Mexico.......
His servants in the fields,
Trisha and Samuel
