The summer of 2004 will see all of Northampton's Middle Schools close for the final time as the town's educational systems moves from its current three-tier to the forthcoming two-tier system from September.

To celebrate the occassion and to mark the history of the schools on the verge of closing, pupils past and present from middle schools across the town produced exhibitions of work.
