Whip up some passion in the kitchen
to seduce the palate
menu by yarmouth college
The three-course menu

Students at Great Yarmouth College of Further Education have come up with some meals to tempt the tastebuds.

Chefs from London's Savoy Hotel regularly visit the college kitchens to offer jobs to budding cooks. So, we have asked the students to share their top recipes for romance with us.

Menu
If you are a novice cook then try our quick and easy starter below, Passion Fruit Sorbet.

If you like cooking then try Cupid's Chicken.

If you fancy having a go at some cordon bleu cuisine then try our Saucy Cappuccino Chocolate Mousse.

Passion Fruit Sorbet ingredients

passion fruit sorbet
Get the passion flowing with this juicy starter

I small ripe melon
1 passion fruit
8 strawberries
2 kiwi fruits
1 orange
6 white grapes
6 black grapes
I tub of passion fruit sorbet (available from supermarkets)

Method
1. Half the melon and scoop out some of the flesh. If you want to make the melon more appealing then cut zig-zags around the edge to make a crown.

2. Half the strawberries and grapes, peel the orange and segment, peel the kiwi fruits, cut into half length-ways then slice.

3. Place each half of the melon on a plate, then surround it with the fruit mixture.

4. Place the plates in the fridge and chill well.

5. Just before serving, place some scoops of the passion fruit sorbet into the melon halves. Then cut the passion fruit in half and spoon out the seeds and juice over the sorbets.
