A
mum from Dereham in Norfolk is among the three winners
of Mother's Day surprise treats - thanks to BBC Look East.
Last
month the programme asked viewers for their nominations
for mums to win
a gourmet meal for two, prepared in her home by celebrity
chef, Beryl Tate, a regular guest on the BBC Radio 2 Jimmy
Young Show.
Barbara
Dack, from Dereham,
was secretly entered into the BBC Look East competition
by her family, who felt she deserved a special treat after
a very difficult few months.

Barbara
had been due to go on a special holiday to the USA to
celebrate her 60th birthday, but the tour was cancelled
in the wake of the September 11 terrorist attacks.
Not
deterred, Barbara and her husband flew off on a late break
to Cyprus. But while there, she collapsed and had to be
revived six times on her way to hospital. After being
fitted with a pacemaker she had to return home in a wheelchair.
Barbara's
family are thankful that she is still alive and nominated
Barbara to show how special she is to them.
