The Perfect Mother's Day

Most mothers rarely get the chance of a real lie-in, so this Mothering Sunday get the day off to a really relaxing start by following our suggestions below

Start with breakfast...

Not to be served before 10am to allow for a much earned lie-in.

Ease curtains back slightly and serve first cup of tea or freshly-brewed coffee. Leave her in peace!

Bring in tray full of goodies - a Bucks Fizz, more coffee, warm croissants, egg and bacon. Plus the papers. Remove debris and tray.

Aromatherapy Oils for a relaxed mother

Lavender: Floral and light, calming, excellent
for relaxing.

Rose: A heady,sweet, fragrant oil. Very soothing.

Tangerine: Tangy and sweet. A pick-me-up
for a tired body!

Vertivert: A smoky,earthy aroma. Ideal if stressed.

g Ylang: A sweet heady scent. Supposed to have aphrodisiac properties.

Remember, essential oils are highly concentrated and must be used sparingly. Always follow the instructions on the bottle.

Return with appropriate gifts (large and sparkly) or home-made if from the children.

Tell mum how wonderful she is, how well she looks and where you are taking her for lunch.

Do not forget to mention you have been up all morning cleaning the house so that she can enjoy that relaxing aromatherapy bath that you are just about to run for her to have a soak.
