On Friday 6 February, 2004 the people of Norfolk shared hundreds of their photographs and allowed the BBC to record the fabulous stories behind those images - to be expressed on television, radio and online.

The pictures included everything from very personal family photographs to regal parades, but in every case there is a story which will now be stored for the enjoyment of future generations.

The event in The Forum was a pilot project and proved far more successful than anyone had dared to hope.

The people of Norfolk came to The Forum, eager to share their memories.

As a result, the BBC will be hosting another One Hundred Years of Digital Norfolk event in Great Yarmouth very soon.

Keep checking back to these pages for more details.

If you live in Norfolk, you'll be able to hear some of the Digital Norfolk stories broadcast on BBC Radio Norfolk in the next few weeks.

Viewers to BBC Look East will also be able to enjoy some of the highlights recorded throughout the day.
