Halloween wouldn't be the same without a scary
pumpkin lantern to put on your dinner table.
But first, you need to ask your parents to help
you find the right pumpkin.
The best pumpkin to buy is a large one with a stalk
as these look the best. The bigger the pumpkin, the scarier it will
Try to find one that isn't damaged in any way -
you want a smooth surface so you can draw on it easily.
Once you have found your pumpkin, all you have

have a go yourself.

Make sure you ask an adult to
help if you want to try this as knives can

When you have finished with the pumpkin you can
ask your parents if they want to use the pumpkin flesh to make pumpkin
The lantern will look good in the garden or outside
your front door on the porch. You can light it using a torch.
