Halloween is here! Have some fun making your own spooky Halloween cakes.

Scare your friends with some Halloween cakes of ghouls and spider webs!

These are perfect for a Halloween party and are great fun to make.

All the ingredients you need to make your cakes

Ingredients

Three-quarters of a cup of caster sugar
1 and a half cups of self-raising flour
2 dessert spoons of butter or margarine
1 egg (beaten)
A little hot water
12 cup cake cases
Pre-heat the oven to 180°C

Instructions:

Next, add the egg and mix until smooth.

Now add the flour, little by little, into the mixture. If the mixture is too thick, add a tiny bit of hot water.

Now spoon the mixture into the cup cake cases. Split the cake mixture evenly.

Put the cakes into the pre-heated oven for 10 minutes at 180°C. Make sure you ask an adult to help you - ovens are very hot!
