Picture: snowflakes
Make some cool snowflakes to decorate your house
Christmas wouldn't be the same without snowflakes, so why not have a go at making some snowflake decorations. Just follow our instructions.

What you will need

Thick paper or thin card
S
cissors
PVA glue
Glitter
Y
our imagination!
Ask an adult to help you as scissors are sharp!

Instructions

  Step 1
Fold the paper into a triangle with the two edges of the paper.
Step 2
Trim off the extra paper to make a square.

Picture: fold the paper
  Step 3
Fold and fold until you can fold no more - usually two or three times.
Step 4
Cut out the pattern for your snowflake. You can make as many different shapes and patterns as you want.

  Step 5
Carefully unfold your snowflake! See if you like the pattern. If you don't, you can always do another one!
Step 6
If you want to, paint the snowflake or dab PVA glue onto it and sprinkle glitter over it to give it a sparkle.

Your snowflakes are now ready to go up in your windows. Use blu-tak to stick them up.

Or why not cut the snowflakes out of coloured card and then thread some cotton through the top to hang them on the Christmas tree?
