Castle Acre Priory was founded in the 11th century by William de Warenne of France. Stand inside the Green State bedroom inside Holkham Hall - reserved for kings, queens and nobility. The Palladian style in which Holkham Hall is designed shows an appreciation of classical art. The Statue Gallery contains an extensive range of classical statues housed in purpose built niches. Hunstanton is on the north Norfolk coast but its cliffs face west giving great views of sunsets. The shallow beach, set against red and white cliffs, is popular with water sports enthusiasts. Stand at the top of the steps and survey the sheer luxury of the Marble Hall at Holkham. Dominating the Saturday Market Place in King's Lynn is the 12th century church of St Margaret. Snettisham is just one of a handful of Norfolk beaches to face west and is popular with wildlife. Have you shopped in King's Lynn's Market Place, the site of a Mart dating back hundreds of years?
