You could once walk to Holland along the land ridge where mammoths roamed during the Ice Age.  The Market Place is a busy trading centre, but its cobbles hold tales of a grisly and morbid past.  Only three circuses in the world have an aquatic feature. The other two are in Blackpool and Moscow.  Haven Bridge is a double bascule construction which opens to allow ships to pass through.
