After escaping eviction from the Big Brother house
twice before, Norfolk's Jon Tickle has done
it again.
Despite receiving the most nominations from his
housemates, the public voted for scouser Sissy to leave the house.
Of the votes cast, 44.68% voted for Sissy,
38.61% voted for Scotland's Federico and only 16.17% voted for Jon
to be booted out.
Although Jon has had to bear a cold front from
his housemates, public support for him has
continued to grow. BBCi has discovered that Jon is even popular
in Scotland despite having their own contestant, Federico.
Not only are there websites devoted to Jon, you
can even buy a Save Our Jon t-shirt!
He is the star of the show. Scottish Sun are completely backing
him as well. If he goes tonight, that will be the spark of it
gone.

Scottish lass Sarah Bannister, from Kinloch Rannoch
in Perthshire, has created a website dedicated to Jon.
Speaking to Graham Barnard on BBC Radio Norfolk's
breakfast show ahead of eviction night, Sarah explained exactly
what it was about Jon that tickles her fancy.
"I just think out of the whole house he's
the most fun. He's genuine, he's funny and he is the character of
Big Brother, he really is."
It really does seem that Jon is emerging as
the star of the show.
Yes. Even on the initial night he was slightly
different, but it was a bit dull at the beginning. He is the star
of the show. Scottish Sun are completely backing him as well. If
he goes tonight, that will be the spark of it gone.
It's strange that Scotland is backing Jon because
Federico's Scottish.
Yes he's a Glasgow boy. Federico's quite a character
but he's nothing on Jon. Federico is obviously trying to please
people and he's putting across his image purposely but I think Jon
is just being Jon.

Federico was also up for eviction |
So what's on the website?
There's jumping lions all over the page to represent
Jon being king of the house and basically I've said as The Sun quoted
Don't be Fickle, Save Jon Tickle.
The rest of the housemates are just finding it
too easy to vote him off, because you know, they find him difficult
not realising that he's actually making them interesting.
Do you think they're beginning to realise there's
a reason why Jon keeps getting nominated for eviction but doesn't
get evicted?
Yes I think they're going to have to start thinking
about it carefully. If he doesn't go tonight, which hopefully he'll
stay, they're going to have to give it some more thought because
it's obvious the public want him to stay.
It's the same scenario a couple of year's ago with
Paul. He was up for eviction seven times and the public kept him
in because he was the entertainment.

Norwich on the map? Have
