BBC Radio Norfolk's Chris Goreham has netted a bride - BBC Look East's Julie Reinger. The pair married in an intimate ceremony attended by close family and friends at Bateman's Barn, near Harleston, on Saturday, 14 June, 2008. ![]() Julie on her wedding day Chris, 26, who commentates on all Norwich City's games for the BBC local station, started dating Julie more than two years ago after they presented a radio show together. Julie, who has presented the weather on Look East for nearly 10 years, was unable to forecast a sunny day for her own nuptials, with a sudden downpour delaying any outdoor photos straight after the afternoon service. However, it didn't dampen the spirit of the day with the bridegroom, who wore a black suit set off by a pair of sparkling white shoes, saying he was over the moon with his bride. "Saturday truly was the happiest day of my life," he said. "I wasn't nervous because everything felt so right and Julie looked amazing and so beautiful. I am very, very lucky." Julie, who walked down the aisle in a strapless white dress threaded with silver and carried a hand-tied bouquet of antique pink and grey roses, was given away by her father. "This has been the most perfect day," she said. "Chris is a very special man who makes me incredibly happy."
