Be The Band: Pride Of Dunbar

Pride Of Dunbar made it through to Norfolk's shortlist for the Be The Band final. Find out more about the band and listen to their song.

Pride Of Dunbar play contemporary folk music. The Norwich band features a line-up of local musicians who are also members of the long-standing group Accent.

Paul Pryde, Gary Dungar and Jamie Pye perform on the Pride Of Dunbar's Be The Band entry.

Their song is called My Child's Eyes and it reflects a comment made by an eight-year-old boy after Beslan and their producer's son's response after a baby died. The band say the track is about optimism, hope and determination.
