Local T-Cars drivers shine at Snetterton meeting

The rising stars of the racing industry kept Norfolk ahead of the pack, as local drivers did the county proud during a weekend meet at Snetterton.

Norfolk's up and coming motor racing talent enjoyed some success on Sunday, as the T-Car championship came to Snetterton.

Ruth Senior kept up her good form in the series with two second placed finishes behind runaway championship leader Will Bratt.

In the first of two, eleven lap races, Senior was followed over the line by James Williams from Norwich who took his second podium finish in his debut season.

The high points count for Senior, placing her just 18 points off second place in the championship.

Daniel Laddiman claims third place

Daniel Laddiman from Horstead came fourth, in his first race since reaching the minimum racing age of 14.

Keen to improve his performance, the afternoon got better for Laddiman. He powered through to third place in a race behind Senior and Bratt.

Obviously enjoying getting to know his local track, he claimed the award for T-Cars driver of the day.

There are two more rounds of races to go in the season. At Donnington at the end of October and the final rounds at Brands Hatch in November.
