Centrepoint is a national charity working to improve the lives of socially excluded homeless young people. It provides a range of accommodation based services, including emergency night shelters and short stay hostels, specialist projects for care leavers, ex-offenders, young single parents, foyers and supported flats and floating support services.

The Homeless World Cup is a unique and inspiring street soccer tournament, uniting teams of homeless people from around the globe to change their lives and kick off poverty. From Argentina to Australia, South Africa to Portugal, Cameroon to Brazil, Germany to England, homeless people come together for a fast-paced street soccer tournament full of courage, inspiration, grassroots grit and glory.

The Compass Project, Solas

The Compass Project is run by Solas, an organisation that aims to actively encourage and practically assist clients to take responsibility for their own lives. The Compass Project provides a range of arts based activities that is aimed at providing its students with the skills, confidence and knowledge that will enable them to move onto further education, training and employment.

Foyle Women's Aid

Foyle Women's Aid work "to eliminate domestic violence in the community by working for, and with all women, children and young people affected by domestic violence, to ensure their voices are heard and needs met". They offer a range of services, including running the outreach centre Pathways Women's Support Centre, that provides support to women and children affected by domestic violence.

Shelter

Shelter believes everyone should have a home. They help more than 170 000 people a year fight for their rights, get back on their feet and find and keep a home. They also tackle the root causes of bad housing by campaigning for new laws, policies, and solutions. Shelter Families Project provide practical help and support for families in temporary accommodation, to help them resettle into permanent tenancies.

Emmaus

Emmaus Communities offer homeless men and women a home, work and the chance to rebuild their self-respect in a supportive, community environment. Companions, as residents are known, work full time refurbishing donated furniture and household goods and selling them in the community shop. The community aims to become self-sufficient through this activity.
