Divers in South Korea have reached the lower deck of the ferry which sank on Wednesday, glimpsing what appeared to be several bodies.

More than 260 passengers, most of them teenagers, are still missing. At least 29 people are confirmed to have died.

The captain of the ship has made his second public apology after he was arrested earlier this morning.
