The Little Prince

Joseph McManners

Joseph was discovered by a BBC New Talent Search in 2004, where he was selected from 25,000 children to play The Little Prince in the BBC Two screened opera.

After his successful performance 12 year-old Joseph released his debut album 'In Dreams' with SonyBMG which was nominated for a classical Brits 'Album of the Year' award in 2006.

Everything is so exciting at the moment. My school friends back home in Canterbury can't quite believe what I am up to. I can't wait for everyone to hear my new album.
Joseph McManners, 12, Kent

Since then Joseph has been busy touring, performing and acting. He made it to the big screen playing 'Gabriel' in the recent British comedy action hit movie, 'Hot Fuzz.' He also played Oliver in the BBC's 'Celebrate Oliver' 2005 Christmas Show and appeared in the series, 'The Sound of Musicals'.

He is currently working in the studio on new songs that he has written.
