Serious Andes Young Adventurers

Eight young people aged 12-15, took part in a challenging adventure to help build a pre-release enclosure for endangered spectacled (or Andean) bears in Ecuador.

You can watch the main series on BBC One. It starts on Monday 4th June with a double bill at 4.30pm and 5pm, and then weekly on Mondays at 5pm until 2nd July. After the show at 5.30pm you can switch over to the CBBC Channel to watch the Serious Andes Diaries. Get a taster of what's coming up with our video clip.

The adventurers climbed 6,000m (20,000ft) in Ecuador's spectacular Avenue of the Volcanoes and their three-week experience was filmed for a documentary series for CBBC.

Here you can meet the final eight and read their thoughts on getting chosen. You can also view their video reports and interviews broadcast from the Andes in the Andes reports showcase.
