Could you become Blue Peter's junior TV chef?

Over 12,000 children applied but only one could win... The Blue Peter junior TV chef is...

In January Blue Peter and BBC New Talent went in search of its newest presenter, a junior chef, and launched an online competition to find the right person for the job. Over 12,000 children applied for a Can You Cook It? audition.

At the beginning of March the Blue Peter team auditioned hundreds of hopefuls. From these auditions 12 finalists where invited to a residential boot camp.

After two action packed days it was crunch time.

Only three cooks could go through to the final cook off in the Blue Peter studio. The final three chosen were Jake from Port Talbot, Zeeshan from Manchester, and Jack from Rochdale.

The three came to BBC Television Centre in London and each cooked Hot Chocolate Soufflé hoping to impress the judges.
