Directors: Ben & Chris Blaine

Age: 28 and 27

Brief Biography: Lots of disasters and adventures and huge highs and deep, deep lows and lots of writing and dancing and drawing and stealing and lying and loving and Lego and laughter and arguments and break-ups and reunions and filming and editing and not much sleep and the strange feeling that whatever we make up will then come true which leads us to wonder why the hell we don’t just write a film about two brothers who become incredibly successful making films…

What's the best aspect of directing films: The lies.

And the worst: The lies.

Never be on set without: My brother.

Budget for Surprise: £1,500

Top tip for film making: Keep it simple. Take your time. Make something you’d actually want to see in a cinema with an audience. Live life so you’ve actually got something to say.
