Film Synopsis: A satire on what happens behind
at a G8 summit on world poverty.
Training / education? I read geography at St Andrews University in Scotland. I haven't been to film school.
Describe your film making experience. Head-first, giving everything a go, always learning. It started out with holiday videos, wedding videos, films for my old advertising agency and then quickly onto short films with mates that ended up winning some decent awards.
That was always what I had loved doing so plucked up the courage to go my own way this year, left my steady job in advertising and co-founded production company Just So Films which is going really well.
Most looking forward to in your New Music Shorts film?
Upping the ante on everything I've done before. This experience will be a step up for me and I can't wait.
What made you choose 'Bad Is As Bad Does'?
This one stuck out as it was dark and a bit nasty; the final climax feels like it's dragging you into hell. Reckoned I could have some fun with it and the idea of the film came right out of the track.
What are you never on set without?
I'm superstitious and wore the exact same pants/socks/jeans/t-shirt combo at West Ham's victorious final few games last season, and then at my pitch meeting with New Music Shorts. I expect I'll be donning the lucky kit again for the shoot.
