Wales kick off their World Cup qualification with a win

Wales started their World Cup qualification campaign with victory on Monday night after beating Moldova 4-0 in their opening match.

The Euro 2016 semi-finalists were 2-0 up by half time with goals from Sam Vokes and Joe Allen.

Gareth Bale netted a third, then his last-minute penalty took Wales to the top of their group.

Wales play Austria in their second qualification game on 6 October.
