Poo used to power homes in Africa

In Ghana in Africa human waste is being turned into charcoal to help power homes.

There isn't a proper sewage system in the capital city Accra.

A power company has come up with a way of turning poo into charcoal which can then be used in homes.

People are using it to cook and keep homes warm.
