Soyuz space craft blasts off to International Space Station

A Soyuz space craft blasted off for a trip to the International Space Station on Wednesday morning.

The three astronauts on board are due to arrive on Friday after a two-day flight through space.

One astronaut from Russia is following in the footsteps of his father, who went into space 24 years ago.
