Around 100 children are born without one or both of their ears every year because of a condition called microtia.
But now doctors at London's Great Ormond Street Hospital have discovered a new technique to help them.
It involves making new ears out of other parts of the body.
One of the children to benefit is nine-year-old Kieran.
He was born deaf, without ears - but his life has been transformed thanks to the operation, and Kieran now has two ears.
