The Italian football player bitten by Luis Suarez says the four month ban given to him is "excessive".

Giorgio Chiellini said he has "no feelings of joy, revenge or anger against Suarez".

Fifa has banned Suarez from all football until the end of October.

"Such behaviour cannot be tolerated on any football pitch, and in particular not at a FIFA World Cup when the eyes of millions of people are on the stars on the field," said Fifa.

Luis Suarez has also lost a big brand sponsorship deal because of the incident, only a month after the deal began.
