Homemade flying machines take to the skies in Asia

Help

43 handmade flying machines have attempted to take to the air in Asia.

They were competing in the Red Bull Flugtag, which was taking place in Hong Kong.

The aim was to take off from a short runway on Victoria harbour and try and get their invention to fly the furthest.

The aircrafts came in all shapes and sizes, with the majority of them plunging straight into the water.
