World's tallest Ferris wheel opens in Las Vegas

Help

The tallest Ferris wheel in the world has opened in Las Vegas in America.

It stands at an impressive 168 metres tall and has 28 glass pods which can each hold up to 40 people.

But it won't be the tallest wheel for long, as two giant Ferris wheels are being built in New York and Dubai in the Middle East.

The Las Vegas High Roller is about 33 metres taller than the London Eye and three metres taller than its nearest rival, the Singapore Flyer.
