The school that speaks Mandarin

From September primary schools across England will have to teach foreign languages.

Most students will learn European languages like French, German or Spanish - but Nel visited a school where students are learning the Chinese language Mandarin.

More than a billion people speak Mandarin across the world. The Prime Minister believes learning the Chinese language will help Britain do more business with China.

Nel has been finding out how learning Mandarin can be a bit tricky

In Wales, primary schools won't have to teach foreign languages but all kids will be taught Welsh.

There are no plans to make all schools teach foreign languages in Norhern Ireland.
